Zumba Instructors:  You are at this page, because you would like to be added to this website. This website is free and you do not have to be a ZIN member to be included. However, I would appreciate it if you could add a link from your website, Facebook, MySpace, etc to this website.

Below you will find some information that I will need from you.  Please copy and paste what I have below and add your information next to it. Send it to lim761@gmail.com and add in the Subject Line: To Be Added to the Zumba of MI Site

  1. Your Name

  2. Email Address to use at this site

  3. This is important - What county do you teach in?

  4. What city in this county do you teach in?**

  5. Are you certified in fitness?

  6. If you are, which company?

  7. How long have you been certified in fitness?***

  8. Are you a ZIN Member?

  9. If you are, please add the link here:

  10. Are you willing to sub for another Instructor? (If yes, you will have an Icon next to your name)

  11. Photo of yourself. This is optional, however, I have heard that it works wonders having your photo here!

** I am sorry, but certain areas in Wayne and Oakland county is reserved for my company. Please see the map below. If you are in the "red" areas, I cannot add you to this website. I do mention throughout this website, for the public to go to the official www.zumba.com  site to find more Instructors and classes.

Areas of where Fitness Motivators classes are offered

*** Remember: We are NOT certified in Zumba Fitness. We are only authorized to use the Zumba Logo and the Zumba name to teach Zumba Fitness classes. Please refrain from calling yourself "certified" if you are not certified in fitness.

In addition, if you are a new Zumba Instructor, please do not get discouraged with the choreography and the registration numbers for your classes.  By running this website, I have noticed that some areas are saturated with Instructors/classes and some cities/areas hardly have any Instructors/classes!  For example, in my area alone, there are AT LEAST 300 to 450 Zumba classes/Instructors!!!  With that being said, one area could have over 100 students and another could have 20 students in their classes. So make sure to do your best and do NOT worry about the numbers!  It all depends on where you teach and how saturated the area is!  If I were a ZES, I would conduct the Zumba workshops where it needs the most Instructors and not the areas that are already saturated with Zumba Instructors/classes.

This will be all the information that I will need. When I receive it, I will contact you when I update the website with your information on it.  Since I manage this website with my free time, I feel it is not a priority. However, I must update the site every month to make sure the Instructors listed stays current (under the Zumba LLC rules).

You will receive emails from the media, people interested in taking your classes, or another Zumba Instructor who will need you as a sub. Please be professional and represent your great state (Michigan) and Zumba Fitness!  This website has generated well over 2.1 millions hits so far and still counting! I am proud of this website and what it has done for our Michigan Instructors!

Have a FiTastic day and Zumba ON!

Sincerely,

Debbie
